EXPLANATION TEXT FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Özel Antalya Halk Diş Sağlığı Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti. (hereinafter referred to as the COMPANY) and the “Law on the Protection of Personal Data” shall be referred to as KVKK.

This explanation text is prepared within the framework of Article 10 of the KVKK titled “Obligation of Data Controller to Inform.” It aims to transparently inform you about the purposes for which your personal data is processed, to whom and for what purposes it may be transferred, the method and legal basis of collection, and your rights listed in Article 11 of the law.

The COMPANY, as the data controller, shall collect, process, store, and update your personal data when necessary, transfer it to third parties under legal conditions without violating applicable legislation, and classify it as defined below. This statement also covers your Sensitive Personal Data.

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED FROM YOU (DATA SUBJECT)

For Patients Who Are to Be Examined or Treated

Identity Information:
– For Turkish citizens: name, surname, Republic of Turkey ID number, gender, date of birth, ID card number.
– For non-Turkish citizens: name, surname, nationality, temporary ID number or passport number, gender, date of birth.

Contact Information:
– Address in Turkey.
– GSM number and email address.
(The above data are processed based on your explicit consent pursuant to Article 5/1 KVKK.)

Health Information and Medical Records:
Laboratory and imaging results, dental x-rays, test results, examination notes, prescriptions, past and chronic diseases, blood type, and all health data obtained during diagnosis, treatment, and care are processed to conduct medical services in accordance with KVKK Article 6/3-f.

Financial and Insurance Data:
Payment and invoice details, private insurance and SSI data processed for planning and financing healthcare services.

Public Feedback and CCTV:
Your comments on the COMPANY’s website or social media accounts (processed under KVKK 6/d) and camera recordings during clinic visits (accompanied by visible notice texts).

Online Forms:
Personal and location data submitted via forms on https://auraliss.com.

FOR VISITORS

  • Relation to the patient,
  • CCTV and voice records taken during visits (QR codes directing to clarification text are available on-site).

FOR PERSONNEL AND DOCTORS

Data Collected During Job Application

  • Name, surname, gender
  • Education background and specialty field
  • Contact details (GSM number, email address)
  • Foreign language knowledge

Data Collected From Employed Personnel and Doctors

  • Identity information, address, contact details
  • Bank IBAN for salary payments
  • Health board report (no obstacle to profession)
  • Specialty field data

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Personal data are processed to:

  • Fulfill legal obligations (KVKK 5/1-ç),
  • Act on explicit consent (KVKK 5/1),
  • Process data made public by the data subject (KVKK 5/1-d),
  • Evaluate job applications and recruitment processes,
  • Execute employment contracts and statutory obligations,
  • Ensure facility security and asset protection,
  • Manage commercial and operational activities,
  • Maintain data accuracy and currency,
  • Support staff training and career development,
  • Manage patient and visitor records and on-site safety,
  • Respond to lawful requests from authorities,
  • Conduct operations for service delivery and management,
  • Plan and improve healthcare service quality and patient experience.

Data may be processed automatically or manually, provided it forms part of a data record system.

DATA TRANSFERS

In line with KVKK Articles 8 and 9 and relevant health legislation, personal data may be shared with:

  • Ministry of Health and affiliated institutions
  • Private insurance companies
  • Social Security Institution (SSI)
  • Law enforcement and judicial authorities
  • Turkish Pharmacists’ Association
  • Laboratories and medical centers cooperating with the COMPANY
  • Medical institutions receiving referred patients
  • Authorized legal representatives, consultants, lawyers, and auditors
  • Regulatory and supervisory authorities
  • Domestic cloud service providers for data storage

Data is not transferred abroad.

COLLECTION METHODS AND LEGAL BASIS

Personal data may be collected automatically or manually, in electronic or physical form, under:

  • Regulation on Processing of Personal Health Data and Protection of Privacy

  • Decree Law No. 663 on Ministry of Health Organization
  • Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098
  • Labor Law No. 4857
  • Social Security and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510
  • Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102
  • Turkish Penal Code No. 5237 and other relevant legislation

YOUR RIGHTS AS THE DATA SUBJECT

Under Article 11 KVKK and Article 20 of the Turkish Constitution (“Privacy of Private Life”), you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data are processed,
  • Request information if processed,
  • Learn the purpose and conformity of data processing,
  • Know third parties to whom data is transferred,
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
  • Request erasure/destruction under Article 7 KVKK,
  • Request notification of corrections/deletions to third parties,
  • Object to automated processing results against you,
  • Seek compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.

APPLICATION TO THE COMPANY

Applications by data subjects will be answered within 30 days by the COMPANY. As a rule, applications are free of charge; however, if the process requires a cost, it may be requested per KVKK Article 13 tariffs.
