Smile Makeover

Smile Makeover (Veneers)
A Smile Makeover is a comprehensive cosmetic plan to harmonise tooth colour, shape and alignment using conservative techniques—most commonly porcelain veneers, sometimes combined with whitening, minor orthodontics and gum recontouring. At Auraliss, every makeover is digitally designed to your face, lips and bite for a natural, age-appropriate result—not a one-size-fits-all look.
What Does a Smile Makeover Include?
- Digital Smile Design (DSD): 3D planning links tooth proportions to your facial features.
- Porcelain Veneers: Ultra-thin ceramics bonded to the front of teeth to refine colour and shape.
- Minimal Orthodontics: Invisalign® when alignment needs correction before veneers.
- Gum Aesthetics: Laser-levelled gumlines for symmetrical, balanced smiles (when indicated).
- Whitening: To match untreated teeth to your new shade for uniform brightness.
Who Is a Candidate?
Ideal for patients with healthy gums who want to correct one or more of the following:
- Discolouration that doesn’t respond to whitening
- Worn, chipped or uneven front teeth
- Small gaps, mild crowding or asymmetry
- Old, mismatched fillings or crowns in the smile zone
If teeth are significantly misaligned or compromised, staged orthodontics or crowns/implants may be advised first.
Treatment Workflow
- Assessment & Photos: Oral health check, shade analysis and smile goals.
- Digital Design: DSD and wax-up/mock-up to preview your future smile.
- Minimal Preparation: Conservative enamel shaping where needed.
- Provisionals: Temporary veneers to evaluate speech, bite and aesthetics.
- Final Veneers: Hand-layered porcelain bonded with adhesive protocols.
Materials & Shade Philosophy
We typically use lithium disilicate ceramics for strength and lifelike optics. Shade selection is personalised—bright yet believable—considering skin tone, sclera colour, age and surrounding teeth to avoid an artificial look.

Aftercare & Maintenance
Brush with a soft brush, use non-abrasive toothpaste and floss daily. Avoid biting hard objects (ice, pens). Attend regular hygiene visits to protect both veneers and gums; minor polish can refresh surface lustre when needed.

Risks & Considerations
Temporary sensitivity can occur after preparation and bonding. Very dark underlying teeth may need combined whitening. In cases of heavy grinding, reinforced ceramics and protective nightguards are recommended.
